The dazzling Lara Dutta is back again in yet another comedy flick do knot disrurb, directed by David Dhawan starring Govinda. In conversation with Lara Dutta.
Tell us more about your film do knot disrurb kind of character do you play? I'm playing Dolly in the movie who is in love with a married man and to hide the post marital love affair.
A lot of situations arises which turn out to be a complete drama with humor. The film has been directed by David Dhawan and produced by Vashu Bhagnani.
So are you the same Govinda's Dolly who has become so popular with the audience? Yes, I'm his Dolly and she has become famous just because the way Chi Chi calls her. How was your experience working with another Ex-Miss Universe Sushmita Sen? It was good, but we had very few scenes together, all together it was a dream come true working with her.
With two former Miss Universe working together in the same film, we heard that there were few clashes between you two? Is it necessary that if two actresses are working together, they are bound to have a cat fight? The shoot was a really good experience and nothing like that happened.
How was it working with Govinda again? It was indeed a fantastic experience working with him again after doing movies like BHAAGAM BHAAG and PARTNER. But this time, I got more opportunity to perform with him. But this doesn't end here; I've worked with Govinda again in Ravi Chopra's BANDA YE BINDAAS HAI which will be released soon.The story goes that way back in 2001, a year after India had two beauty pageant winners in Lara Dutta at the Miss Universe
and Priyanka Chopra at Miss World, Golf Ace Tiger Woods was dating one of them. The rumour was that our Lara Dutta, who was reportedly dating New York Yankees baseballer Derek Jeter, had also caught the eye of the greatest golfer in the world.
A US newspaper, in a story on Tiger, had the champion golfer denying he was dating Miss Universe Lara Dutta of India or trying to steal her from New York Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter. The Woods Foundation people, in fact, dismissed the story as being Nothing more than gossip, probably put out by Dutta’s camp. And Lara came back to India and fame inBollywood.
But now that skeletons are tumbling out of Tiger’s woodwork, the gossip that he may have actually dated one of our Indian beauty queens is again gaining momentum. Suddenly Tiger’s denials that were taken very seriously eight years ago are now being re examined. After all, he has turned out to be quite a champ off the greens. And has swung his club around in every directionLara Dutta was operated recently. A few days back, she checked herself into Lilavati where she got her kidney stone removed.
Lara was in immense pain last week and wanted to get rid of the stone as soon as possible.
A close hand reveals, Lara has been complaining of pain for quite some time. She has been religiously working out and ever since the pain, she had to cut down on that. However, once it got too uncomfortable, she decided to check in and get the stone removed.
The doctors advised her not to strain herself and rest before she resumes work.
Lara dutta has several action sequences in the upcoming movie. Producer Ritesh Sidhwani and director Farhan Akhtar are silent over the issue.
