Samantha Kate Winward is an English actress, singer and model who attended Turton High School Media Arts College, in Bromley Cross, South Turton. She is best known for playing Katie Sugden in the ITV1 soap opera Emmerdale. Winward previously dated her Emmerdale co-star, Kelvin Fletcher, and later got engaged to footballer David Dunn. Their daughter Mia was born at home in Edgworth, Lancashire on June 12, 2005.
