Here are some recipes that use natural tuberose flower as it was written by prof. H.M. Hembing Wijayakusuma.

1. Cataracts, Sore Eyes

Boil 50 tuberose flowers with 1,500 cc of water until boiling. Wait until cool. Once cool, use an eye wash.

2. Boils (Furunculus) and swelling (edema)

Take a taste tuberose roots and wash clean. After that, mashed smooth and paste it on the sick.

3. Hard to Sleep, Soothing Mind and Heart, Blood enhancer, and Blurred vision

Ingredients: 30 tuberose flowers, 15 grams kie cie (can be purchased at Chinese drug store), 1-2 pieces of chicken liver, 2 cloves garlic, 4 spring onions, 10 grams of ginger, pepper, salt, and soy sauce each individual taste. Slice the garlic and onion. Saute all ingredients with cooking oil to taste nonkolesterol. Add tapioca flour that has been diluted sufficiently. Cook until done.

4. Increase Stamina

Ingredients: 50 tuberose flowers, 50 grams of snow peas, 1 egg, 100 grams of shrimp, 10 grams of ginger, 2 cloves garlic, red onion 4 cloves. Saute all ingredients with cooking oil to taste nonkolesterol. Do not forget to add cornstarch that has been diluted. Cook until done.

5. Sharpen Sight

Ingredients: 30 tuberose flowers, 70 grams of young snow peas, 100 grams of chicken meat, 75 grams of carrots, 1 egg, 10 grams of ginger, 2 cloves garlic, 4 spring onions, soy sauce and salt to taste. Cut the chicken meat and carrots. Then prepare the garlic and onion which have been sliced. Saute all ingredients with nonkolesterol cooking oil until cooked.

6. Influenza

Ingredients: 20 grams of tuberose roots, 15 grams of ginger, 2 leeks white, 600 cc of clean water. Boil ingredients together until the remaining half of water (300 cc). The water is taken twice each 150 cc.

7. Sore Throat, Odor Mouth, Hoarse Voice, Pain When Swallowing Food

Ingredients: 20 grams of tuberose roots, 25 grams of fresh bitter, 600 cc of clean water. Boil ingredients together until the remaining half of water (300 cc). After that, strain and drink two times a day each 150 cc.

8. Rheumatism

Ingredients: 30 grams of tuberose flower root, 20 grams of red ginger, brown sugar to taste, 400 cc of water. Boil ingredients together with 400 cc of water until boiling. Strain and the two parts to be taken twice daily.
