Strawberry Jam (Malaysia)

Strawberry Jam was founded by ian in 2004. Steven then joined to help out in the bass department and became the vocalist. Not long after, Jeremy joined and replaced as vocalist. Keong then was switched to became the guitarist and CY joined as drummer to complete the band.

Strawberry Jam mainly plays heavy metal. If it is not metal, it is not cool. We eat metal for breakfast everyday.

Strawberry Jam has so far played in 5 gigs and is continuing to spread the juice.

CY has then retired from the band till further notice because of his medical condition of his back. His last gig was Jrock Kingdom 4 with Strawberry Jam. Playing metal music that Strawberry Jam plays could worsen his medical condition so we respected his decision. (Last heard, he is still playing metal music with other bands).

After CY, Strawberry Jam has suspended all activities. Not long after that, we stole Edmund from miniature garden. All hope is not lost, we resumed activities and begin to spread the juice again!

Location: Kuala Lumpur, some say in Batam.

“Strawberry” in English means the juicy, usually red, edible fruit of certain plants of the genus Fragaria. “Jam”, means press tightly together or cram in English. When you combine Strawberry Jam together, you get a combination of fruit and sugar cooked until the mixture has an intense flavor and thick consistency. We combined this names into one in to show that our music is explodingly delicious.
