According to the New York Daily News, the diva revealed on Twitter that it was indeed she when a fan sent her a tweet that linked to one of the pictures and asked, "what is this?"
"That would be... ME," Rihanna replied, "when I was skinny!" she said.
The photo in question, posted online by MediaTakeOut, shows the singer wearing only lacy underwear as she covers her breasts with her arms and takes a picture of her reflection in a mirror.
The gossip site alleged that the picture was sent to a "popular sports star" ex-boyfriend.
