For fans of the show, V, you know what I'm talking about when I say that Tyler is one of the most annoying characters of all time - yes, even more annoying than Deb from Dexter - which makes it incredibly painful to see him with his incredibly hot, alien girlfriend, Laura Vandervoort. God damn! Tyler isn't even that attractive! This kid, who sports a hair cut from the 90's, frequently gets to hook up with the gorgeous Vandervoort. Look at her face! Her breasts! Her ass! Her body! and in honor of Google SafeSearch: Look at her hair! He doesn't deserve her. There are only a few people noble enough to be with a girl like her, and I think we know who some of them are.
Just like none of us have a shot with, Laura, none of us (with an exception here and there) have a chance with Portia de Rossi either. But for a very different reason. Well, I guess there are probably multiple reasons. Nonetheless, de Rossi is very attractive. Famous for her roles in Ally McBeal and Arrested Development, de Rossi has quite the repertoire of acting credits. While she hasn't won any big-time awards, she has constantly appeared on most desirable lists, including ours. And I'm sure that's all anyone cares about!
I know it looks like I've lobbied pretty hard for Vandervoort, but that's just because I am so angry at Tyler. We have two beautiful women up for vote. Both will bring tough competition to Megan Fox or Nicole Kidman in the West Central Conference semi-finals, as most brackets predict that either de Rossi or Vandervoort will make far in the Western Bracket's playoffs. The brackets are favoring Vandervoort for this match, however, so de Rossi supporters, it's time to start lobbying, otherwise, she may end up on the street.
Results from Round 3:
In the first close round of the tournament, Keira Knightley pulls out as winner with 63% (7/11) of the vote. Bowen's close loss bodes well for the other older women by showing the 40+ crowd can still put up a fight. Knightley earned a score of 8, including outliers, compared to Bowen's 7.3. So, while Knightley is almost 3/4 of a point more attractive than Bowen, it was not the 1.2 point blowout in the Alba/Hewitt match. While excluding outliers, however, Knightley's score climbs to an 8.2 compared to Bowen's 7.4, suggesting more variance in the Knightley vote, but a higher median.
Knightley now ranks number two in our hotness leader boards. Alba still holds the number one spot at 8.64. Bowen replaces Hewitt in last place. Neither actress scored a 10. Knightley scored 1 six, 3 sevens, 2 eights and 5 nines. Bowen scored 1 five, 3 sixes, 2 sevens, 2 eights and 3 nines.
Knightley will now move on to face Jessica Alba in the North Eastern Conference semi-finals. Alba has been voted .64 points hotter than Knightley. Interestingly, Alba is not the clear winner when looking at the brackets with only five (out of ten) brackets advancing her to the NEC finals. When Knightley and Alba go head to head, however, the brackets favor Alba at two to one odds. While Alba may have a slight advantage going into the next round, expect some tough competition.
