Lucy Lawless stars in Spartacus: Gods of the Arena, the prequel to season 2. Lucy Lawless in Spartacus: Gods Of The Arena is making news to the start off the week. During the first season of Spartacus, the actor Andy Whitfield, who played Spartacus was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma so Starz executives decided to make a prequel to the first season while Andy Whitfield got treatment. However, Whitfield dropped out all together so now the show needs a new Spartacus. It is still unclear when season 2 will begin filming.

For now, “Spartacus: Gods of the Arena,” will debut and Lucy Lawless, as well as John Hannah will join the cast. Lucy will play a character named Lucretia. Lucy Lawless’ daughter, Daisy Lawless, works on set. Lucy said, “I say, ‘Turn your back for the next 20 minutes, Daisy,’ It must be really weird to have your mother engage in some shocking behavior.”

Tank Top Tuesday

I realize now I probably committed an unacceptable, unconscionable, unforgiveable crime against tank tops yesterday with my initial photo choice. Is there an apology big enough to atone for that sin? Can my sense of sexy be redeemed? Seriously, what the fuck was I thinking? I cannot answer these questions. I can, however, grovel at the feet of Teh Hot and ask humbly for its forgiveness.
