Except you forgot the part where you need to have knowledge of how the hack actually works. The majority of bugs are just not common knowledge or as easy as browsing someone on the same network.

All right, I have it up to 72 fps and added intermediate frames to smooth out the animation. You'll need at least a 500 MHz G4 to fully appreciate the effect, try closing other windows if there is continued roughness.

Last time I jailbrok was my 3G, Now I have an i4 with 4.3.2 and when they went untethered recently I jailbroke.
I havent used many themes long enough to be sure, so this might just be the theme I'm using. However with the Aquarium theme, and I suspect many others, every day I get several banner ads that pop up in the background, behind the icons.
What the heck is the deal with that? I don't need what should be a static background image pulling web content to serve me up ads.
Is this a thing the developer of the theme controls, is it a consequence of having the jailbreak, or something else?
More importantly how do I turn it off.

I'm an Android guy but I bought an iPad 2. Since I didn't know much of the app store, I bought an app for $9.99 with my mom's credit card (it's on her account). but i wanted to use my 25 dollar gift card, i didn't know you were supposed to redeem it first -___-.

Now I'm wondering, they say the first 500 people there will get a free T-shirt, is that the first 500 that actually buy Leopard, or the first 500 that walk into the store? I ordered online, and because of the issues with not being sure whether MacMall is going to ship it and have it to me on Friday, I'm still teetering with cancelling the order, going to the store, buying it with my student discount and getting the free T-shirt.I'll be at the Palo Alto Store by about 2PM with my copy from a nearby college bookstore that I'm getting for $69 before 2PM. That should put me near the front of the queue.
I go to the store for the party social part and get in line even though I am not going to buy it there so I can get inside the store to play with it on one of the Macs inside. I'll have my old G4 PB with me and will be installing it while I'm in the queue from the copy I buy earlier at a college store nearby.

Is anyone using a bluetooth headset with their 4th Gen iPod Touch? Which models work?
I am looking to use it for some Ustreaming and it would be ideal if I could use the mic from a bluetooth headset to provide the audio.

I have never heard of a "Privacy Policy" ... if it is legit, every landlord would only have to give the tenant 24 hours notice to show the unit to a future tenant.
I would walk away from this unit and keep looking ... saving a few bucks by paying lots of money up-front could end bad for you.
being so far away ... maybe a reputable rental agent who works for an established RealEstate company is your best bet.
You do not want to show up on moving day and find out that you have nowhere to stay and now be in Manhattan.

And LCD's backlight will fail eventually, but that takes years and years. If yours is failing now, I hope you have AppleCare or something.

The official TRIM support is already in Snow Leopard builds for the new Macbook Pros with SSDs and it's in Lion as well. The official support is only for the Apple's SSDs, no TRIM support for third party SSDs. There is a way to enable it for any SSD that supports TRIM, but it is a hack. Apple are usually conservative about their SSDs, they don't go for the top of the line SSDs. So, it is normal to see conservative speed from Apple's SSDs.

I'm a teacher who has brought his class every year to MacWorld. We always come on Friday. I don't think that any booths close down on Friday until the late afternoon. My kids like the fact that vendors are more willing to give away free stuff on Fridays.
So...I don't think it would be a waste of your time.
thats really cool for you to take them to macworld ! when i was at school our teacher took our class to the police station to have a look around - in a way most of my class seemed to love that place as they keep on going back :D
