Four Mod (Thailand)

Four-Mod (โฟร์-มด) is a Thai pop duo consisting of two girls, Four and Mod, formed in 2005.

In 2004, Four Mod released their debut single/song "Hai Jai Pen Tur", which stayed at number one for several weeks, ensuring their debut success. Since then, they have been releasing a string of consecutive number one hits.

Due to the popularity of Four Mod, many other girl groups have been forming. Four Mod is now partaking in the RS Promotion sub label - Zheza (also known as Kamikaze), a Japanese themed group composed of various teenage artists.

Their debut single "Hai Jai Pen Tur" was released with an MV that shows them riding bikes in a black & white tint city (in reference to the songs' title). Popular group "Pong Lang Sa On" has taken a liking to the group's image and created various friendly parodies of the bicycles. The girls' image for this album was "the regular, average girl look".

Their self titled album debuted at the number one spot of Thailand's music chart, allowing the group to receive many praises from critics.

Four Mod is usually accredited for starting the trend for forming pop girl groups.
